**Q: Can you cut down the width to 55 cms?**
A: You cut to the required size with a hacksaw

**Q: does the fabric have to to be stiffened**
A: No, the fabric doesnt need stiffening, but it will need a weight at the bottom using the strip that is supplied or in my case I used the pre-existing fabric that I already had for my bathroom window which had a thin piece of wood inserted into a folded seam at the bottom of the fabric. It needs the weight for the fabric to neatly cover the window and pull up and down evenly.

**Q: can I cut the width down for non standard window. ?**
A: Yes, just get a junior hacksaw from the pound/99p shop and start slowly while holding firmly onto the pole. Start slowly till you have a perpendicular cut then you can speed up. As the pole is hollow this will take you 20-30 seconds. It is important to cut straight or your end cup wont sit neatley. Repeat with the base rod which is just plastic - again take time to be neat.

**Q: What sort of weight material can this support and can it be used externally ?**
A: Not too heavy material, shorter roller kits will be more sturdy with heavier material

Blinds arrived very quickly - great service from the seller. We found the winding mechanism a bit flimsy, but this may well be due to the new requirement for blinds to be strangle-proof.Very easy to assemble.

Ago of product, did exactly what we wanted, however, instructions are vague eg. There is a sticky strip, where does it go? What is it for? Worked it out but could have been more helpful. Would buy again .
