The package was pretty beat up when delivered (receiver showing through hole in box) but no damage to paint. I weighed it using bathroom scale and it was right at 50 lbs, as advertised. Definitely heavy duty construction -- great value for the money. Welds and paint appear to be of good quality. Pins and my receiver installed easily, except for one bottom pin that required an 18" breaker bar to screw in (yes, I used lots of grease).Can't wait until the snow melts so that I can test it out. It,s made with a fairly heavy gauge HSS tube steel and the welds look good. Assembly was was straight forward and installation was a breeze. If I had to complain it would only be the packaging. It was beat to crap when it arrived with holes and tears all over it. While this doesn't pose any threat to the hitch itself, it's a thousand wonders the small hardware pack didn't fall out and become lost during shipping.
