Only negative was in information not supplied giving details re Modes. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars This is NOT a REVITIVE circulation Booster! *by R***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 February 2024* First, I don't think they should be using the brand name REVITIVE in the title, this cheap gadget is a totally different thing, Revivite is TENS, this is EMS, and there is over Β£200 difference in price! just to clarify incase you think you are getting the same gadget that is currently being advocated by Ian Botham!But I do find it amazing, thirty years ago, I was starting my journey into being a holistic therapist and spent thousands on various pieces of fancy equipment and many courses, TENS and EMS were there, but, the equipment was expensive then, and not mass produced in China. This type of flatbed EMS massager, well you can now pick them up for as low as Β£10. Amazing. Suffice to say, if you get one that works okay (they are cheap and cheerful so can't expect them to last for a long time), then enjoy it while it lasts. You would pay between Β£20-100 for a body massage depending on where you live in the country, or you could sit down with your coffee and book and have 20 minutes with one of these.On a lazy day when I haven't been out for a walk, or I've sat at the PC too long, I use one of these gadgets during a coffee break.With experimentation you'll find a mode and intensity you like, just start low, as the high intensity EMS can be a bit of a 'shock' ! Read the instructions.... some people must not use these.The instructions are not very well translated in places. When you choose a mode, you then adjust the intensity, and this happens each time you change to a different mode, as it doesn't remember the intensity level. At intensity, level one - I couldn't feel anything, started to feel it at Level 3, and at 6, well, didn't need to go higher.So I got one that works okay, hope it continues to do so... (I have read quite a few reviews from people who have bought duds) at time of review it was Β£19. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Cheap way into seeing whether EMS massage works for your feet *by S***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 February 2024* This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine programme, however this in no way influences my review, which is intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers.As another reviewer has noted, this device is an EMS device intended to stimulate muscles and associated bloodflow, not a TENS device for pain relief. My wife has been suffering with heel pain recently which is similar to, but not quite the same as, plantar fasciitis. In addition to massaging her feet to relieve the discomfort, and using an ultrasonic wand, we thought it would be worth trying out one of these EMS massagers as she could just place her feet on it while sitting on a chair and getting on with other things.The first thing to note is that the instructions that come with the device are quite poor, and being a Chinese product they are written in broken English. This means that a bit of common sense (and some trial and error!) is needed in order to use all of the massagers functions and getting it working exactly as you want.You place your bare feet on the pad, and then select the preferred mode and intensity. As you would expect, it is strongly recommended to start with the lowest setting and gradually work up until you find the desired intensity of stimulation. If it is painful then you should stop immediately.My wife said that the tingling sensation that you feel when the device is operating isn't at all unpleasant, and the pre-set 15 or 30 minute timer passed really quickly. Her foot pain is definitely better, but whether that is down to this device or more likely a combination of the EMS stimulation, foot massage and ultrasonic treatment is impossible to say.
