Yes and if you are going longer than 50’ from the transformer you better get 14 awg wire.

The label on the light says 2W. These lights are quite bright at night - the put out a lot of light. You probably wouldn't like them if you want a more subtle light.

Q: How did you get the connector through the hole in the base?

Lift up on the tabs for the incoming wire. Put the wire through the base and easily replace them in the connector and snap the clips back down

Q: Is this dusk to dawn?

No, low voltage pathway lights can work a day on their own without solar power.
