It was still working , but on its final days. I had toyed with the idea of a tankless water heater for some time. I decided to pull the trigger when I bought a new 2500 heavy duty Chevy truck that wouldn’t fit in the garage with the old water heater in it. My plumber loved the new one and had no trouble installing it. Mine is propane because we are on a ranch in the country. Strongly consider professional installation!Now I have hot water for days. My only reminder to those considering one of these, is that they are not instantly hot, just like my old water heater wasn’t instant. It depends on how far your sink, dish washer, shower, or washing machine is from the water heater.
