Review: Brilliant underlay - This underlay is fab! It is easy to lay although I recommend a really sturdy, sharp pair of scissors to cut it. It is very insulating. The young carpet fitter called it "old school" his Dad said it was the best. I got it as I thought it was more environmentally better. Customer service was brilliant. The only negative is that when first laid it has a scent as if it has come straight from the sheep. This does go and I would recommend this product.

This underlay is fab! It is easy to lay although I recommend a really sturdy, sharp pair of scissors to cut it. It is very insulating. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job for a good price

I've now got all sorts of rugs protected from our wobbly wooden floors for very little cost.Smells like a sheep, so they haven't removed all the oils, which I should think is all to the good when it comes to repelling insects (though dusting it with moth killer is probably advisable). There are synthetic fibres interwoven which means I can't put the odd spare bits on the compost, and that explains the four stars instead of five. But it's nice and thick without being too thick so I've got it under large carpets and runners alike.
