Review: Be prepared to lose hours of life staring at this! - So cool! If you have real plants though, you’ll have to unclog this a lot if your plants tend to float around. I placed this under my outlet, I found that the current is such, that it blows the sand nicely so that it lands in the middle of the bowl. You can’t jist place this all willy nilly anywhere you want. I also found that you need a great deal of air power to produce a nice consistent effect. I have a dual outlet air pump, and I have a line dedicated to it. -Stureview
Review: Works well in an ideal tank environment. - Placed product in tank with sand provided and worked beautifully for an hour or two: just like the video posted by one of the reviewers. The concept and design are nice however my fish swimming by it creates a “wake” and then the sand blows all over. I placed this product in a 55 gallon tank with large oscars and for some reason they keep swimming around the decoration which causes sand to scatter about. I don’t consider this a product flaw in as much as my tank environment may not be the best for a waterfall. The sand included dissipated right away so I refilled with aquarium sand and it worked well for a bit. However, the sand in my tank is heavier and this caused a clog. To rectify This I increased the air flow. So now I have giant bubbles but the sand moved a little better and after a day and a half does not flow at all. I read previous reviews and it doesn’t make sense that people complain about broken pieces. This is a shipping problem not a product problem. The waterfall is made with the same materials that you would find in any other decoration on the shelf of any pet store. It is shipped unpackaged in a box with bubble wrap so don’t drop or toss the box before opening. This is a nice product with a unique design and will work well in the right setup. It would probably work best in a larger tank with smaller fish. I have always had issues with any decorations due to active larger fish.

Gotta be careful how much sand is in the bowl. Too much or too little and it won't work. Also, the bubbles come out of the mouth, not the holes in the top...
