The power must be turned off to the stove at the circuit breaker before you do anything. And test to make sure it is completely off. Then, the switch knobs have to be pulled off. There are nuts under each knob. These have to be removed. At the back, in the grill compartment, there is a screw that has to be loosened to remove the plate under the switch knobs. Then, you will have access to the rocker switch, which can be easily replaced. It may sound complicated but it is actually quite simple. The most important thing is to make sure that the power is completely turned off at the circuit breaker.
