Players act as investors and ranchers competing to build railroads, buy stock certificates, and time dividend payouts to maximize wealth. With a playing time of 30-60 minutes, it offers a fast-paced yet immersive experience featuring authentic thematic elements and no assembly required. ## Description The train depot is a noisy place, with cowboys shouting and cows mooing as they are loaded on the stock cars of the cattle train. While the steam locomotive hisses as it is refilled with water from the spout, smiling ranch owners think of the riches they will receive once the train reaches Chicago. Some of them were smart enough to buy shares in the Railroad, which finally reached the town this Spring. Business is booming! In Texas & Pacific, 2 to 6 players represent wealthy investors and ranchers in 19th-century Midwest and Texas. Players buy Stock Certificates from the major railroads of the era. They compete to earn the most money during the game by carefully timing Dividend payments and expanding the railroads across the plains to increase the value of their holdings. At the end of the game, the player with the most money is the winner. ## Features - Out invest your rivals in this railway building game. - Perfect for 2-6 players. - Compete against your friends and watch your investments grow. - In the end the player with the most money wins! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BMM7ZSQD | | Are Batteries Required | No | | Brand Name | Rio Grande Games | | CPSIA Cautionary Statement | No Warning Applicable | | Customer Package Type | FFP | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (6) | | Edition | New Release | | Estimated Playing Time | 60 Minutes | | Genre | Family | | Included Components | 1 Board game | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Item Dimensions | 17.1 x 12.7 x 3.8 centimetres | | Item Type Name | board game | | Item Weight | 1.5 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Rio Grande Games | | Manufacturer Part Number | RIO633 | | Manufacturer recommended age | 14 years and up | | Material Type | Cardboard | | Minimum Age Recomendation | 168 | | Model Number | RIO633 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Players | 2-6 | | Size | One Size | | Theme | Train | | UPC | 655132006330 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Rio Grande Games - **Genre:** Family - **Material:** Cardboard - **Number of players:** 2-6 - **Theme:** Train ## Images ![Texas & Pacific - Railway Board Game, Set in 19th-Century Midwest & Texas, Investors & Ranchers Train Game, Rio Grande Games, Ages 14, 2-6 Players, 30-60 Minute Playing Time - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Gz4Y1KV8L.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Texas & Pacific - Railway Board Game, Set in 19th-Century Midwest & Texas, Investors & Ranchers Train Game, Rio Grande Games, Ages 14, 2-6 Players, 30-60 Minute Playing Time - Rio Grande Games: Wabash Cannonball - Train Board Game, Railroads of The Eastern US, Ages 14+, 3-6 Players, 30-60 Min - Rio Grande Games: Prussian Rails - Build Railroads Across All of Germany, Train Board Game, Ages 14+, 3-5 Players, 90-120 Min --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/573981564-texas-and-pacific-railway-board-game-set-in-19th-century](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/573981564-texas-and-pacific-railway-board-game-set-in-19th-century) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
