We don’t always use the extra tub actually since there’s enough compartments without it. The food stays in the compartments when the lid is in place. The multiple sections really help me since I try to avoid packaging - I’m conscious that my child needs helps to open everything and that is a tad annoying for his care givers at preschool to have to do it!! I like that the top lays flat to act as a table to eat the lunch off of so great for picnics too. Super easy to open - my toddler has it for preschool some days and the staff how independent he can be with it. The colour matches the water bottle - which is equally lovely. I always get compliments as I use it too. I have an issue with buying things that can’t be cleaned easily so I avoid items that don’t come apart. This box fits in the dishwasher so well and has no awkward fixings that need scrubbing. I’d defo recommend….in fact I’m probably going to get another one for my other child to have once his old one breaks.
