I had a cheap pergo floating floor before this one for four years in the kitchen and never had any special care, if fact when I pulled it up I reused some in my bedroom hall. I was one of the first to get this floor. I was told that it has a lifetime warranty. For 6 months I have been getting the run around from my retailer and consumer affairs. I see why they do not make this tile anymore. It is very expensive. It looks good but does not wear well. In the high traffic areas it wears down to the white of the tile. The tile has a paper thin finish on top that comes off where you have bar stools or other furniture. Break a tile in half and you will see how thin the top is.
