It is loaded with functions that you will not find in those other OBD readers you buy for like $20. This is a type that is used by mechanics. I compare this to an expensive name brand that my mechanic friend has. He was super impressed of all the functionality of this unit for the price compared to his that cost thousands of dollars. I recently used this on my sisters Corolla because she had an engine light on. It turns out it wasn't evap problem that this reader was able to detect and correct. The best thing about this is the free updates. This has built-in Wi-Fi that when connected you can update with all the current information for virtually almost every vehicle. If you're a mechanic or like me a do-it-yourself kind of guy working on cars this is definitely a must-have specially for the price and what this is able to do. Since most cars rely on an ECU now this is probably one of the most useful tools you can have for your vehicle. Any type of trouble codes that you might come across I guarantee you this will most likely be able to detect it and not only give you a trouble code but actually tell you what the trouble code means. This is also touch screen which is a huge Plus. Also use this USBC to update and charge which is fantastic. This will definitely get a lot of use and knowing that I can work on almost any car with this OBD reader makes this a great investment. ## Frequently Bought Together - KINGBOLEN OBD2 Scanner S500 Car Scanner, Lifetime Fr-ee Update Diagnostic Scan Tool with 6 Reset,Oil/Brake/SAS/Throttle/Inject/ABS Reset, Engine ABS SRS Transmission OBD2 Code Reader, Battery Test - KINGBOLEN EL-50448 Plus TPMS Relearn Tool for Ford for GM Automotive Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor 315/433 MHz Reset Tool, 2 in 1 Relearn Tool for F150 for Lincoln for Buick for Cadillac Vehicle - KINGBOLEN BM580 6V 12V Car Battery Tester, 100-2000CCA Voltage Tester, Precision Digital Auto Battery Analyzer, Loading/Charging/Starting System Tester for Cars SUV ATV Boats Motorcycles Vehicle --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/572009129-obd2-scanner-s500-car-scanner-lifetime-no-cost-update-diagnostic](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/572009129-obd2-scanner-s500-car-scanner-lifetime-no-cost-update-diagnostic) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
