I put one of these in my husband's lunch cooler and it keeps bread from drying out when I make sandwiches. If you enjoy freezing foods they also work well for that purpose. So these transport well and you can heat things up in the microwave to warm them in the containers. One thing however. If you have tomato based sauces or say lasagna, it is best to snap the food out of the container onto a plate and cover it with one of those microwave covers before reheating. If you reheat tomato products in these containers it can melt the plastic and create holes in the container. Also with gravy that can happen as well.
