Review: Works Wonders! - Really added the finishing touch to my new Portland leather black bag! A little goes a long way. After having plenty more in the jar and seeing some other review pics of somewhat worn out boots and other items, I gave it a real test on our 30yr old cowhide sectional. This has been a favorite scratching spot for our wild rescue dog. It was pretty amazing to see the bare areas darken and bring back the 'pebble' texture, almost back to the original 'espresso' brown. Of course, with all the scratching over the years the smooth top layer was worn away. The product soaked right in and blended the rough areas in without leaving residue later in the day. Highly recommend!

**Q: Will this product work on leather couch and chairs?**
A: This product is an industrial strength protector and is best used on leather work boots or horse tack. I would recommend Bick 5 instead. It is formulated specifically for conditioning leather furniture.

**Q: Will this leather preservative work on an all leather bike saddle, like Brooks? I want something that does not soften too much.**
A: Yes, I have used it on leather boots, belts, and holsters.

**Q: I have a "raw" unpolished,non-smooth untanned leather jacket. Light in color. What can I use to keep it conditioned?**
A: Just use a cleaner or conditioner..

If you use this product, it’ll darken your leather.

**Q: If I use this on my sofa, will it stain my clothes?**
A: I don’t think so but I only use it on my motorcycle seat. I let it kinda sit and harden for around 24 hrs after application. So that may be a consideration.
