Review: Makes a god tarantula enclosure - This was a recommendation from blogger for a decent tarantula enclosure. It really is as pictured and described. The box arrived in good condition and took drilling and soldering iron easily to make holes for ventilation. It feels a bit fragile (like it would not take too much to crack and break- don’t drop it!) and could be scratched easily. But- it’s a good deal for the price point, clear, easy to modify and has a snug lid (once you play with it a bit - before placing my old worlds in)- and I will likely buy another for my juvenile tarantulas.

Instead of making me go through that mess, the seller contacted me directly and let me know that they were shipping me a new one and I could just toss the broken one. I order quite a bit through desertcart and you don't often see sellers go out of their watly like that. Good product/good service. Would purchase again.

**Q: Does the lid, "click" into place or just sit on top? Looking to put a tarantula in it sheet doing some holes.**
A: It fits on the top inside and would work for spiders. We have had others do the same and put holes in the lid.

**Q: What is the thickness of the acrylic the box is made from? I want to make a overflow box for a reef tank from it.**
A: I measured it at 1/8". It might work for overflow, but I can easily make the sides flex when putting pressure, so it's not the sturdiest, but if simply holding water that probably won't matter.

**Q: Is this pvc free and acid free?**
A: Yes

**Q: Could a hole be cut in the lid?**
A: Yes some have drilled small holes in these boxes. You have to be careful what you use as they could crack if not done properly.

I want to display the collars, leashes, etc. from my late pets. I've been searching for just the right thing. I kept finding display cases that had a base and a top. That seemed too unstable. When I found this clear box with a lid, I was thrilled! It arrived and it's perfect. It was packed well and arrived quickly. The item description said something about using it as a fish tank. I don't think it's sturdy enough for that, but it's ideal for my needs.
