There are two removable tapes which when peeled off leave a simple bed pad with no adhesive fix material. Otherwise the pad is absorbing the urine etc Review: Perfect for our dog’s crate - Our 7mo lab is having urinary issues, small urine puddle overnight in his crate, might need surgery . Bought these, & very happy that they are keeping his bed dry. I wish the plastic was a little thicker, as he claws a bit overnight, pad doesn’t move but he made an eraser size hole in plastic. Solved this by cutting a large pad (different brand) into 4 pieces, & placed underneath the adhesive pad, in the middle. Somebody mentioned the adhesive gets stuck on cloth, & difficult to remove, happens, but using rubbing alcohol & a cloth will loosen adhesive paper in 2-3minutes. Only seems to happen if myself or puppy push adhesive area too hard against cloth bed. I usually slide the pad over the back of his bed, as accidents don’t happen with our male dog in he front. I do not notice any noise or crinkling sound when my mom turns over or moves.
