Yes, it’s cheaper than the competitors but I decided that there couldn’t be too much of a difference. Wrong! The fold-down guides at each side are poorly attached to their base - if they are attached at all - and that was evident upon opening. After a wipe down with a wet paper towel, I reassembled the slicer to see if it was useable at all. Attached photo proves it wasn’t. This went straight into the trash.
