This is a great small radio, just what I wanted. The sound is great and the the cabinet is very nice looking. I bought it for my wife to have music around the house during the day, and she loves it. The controls are minimal and perfect for the function, and the FM reception is perfect with the provided telescoping antenna. The radio is a little pricey, but it's well engineered and very nicely constructed, so it's well worth the price to me. ## Features - High-performance table radio with simple design and superior sound reproduction - Attractive, furniture-grade, handmade wood cabinet doubles as acoustically inert housing - 3-inch long-throw driver ensures accurate tonal balance and bass response - State-of-the-art discrete component FM tuner improves reception and increases clarity - Measures 8.375 x 4.5 x 5.25 inches (W x H x D); 1-year warranty - 3-inch long-throw driver ensures accurate tonal balance and bass response. The difference is that the Tivoli is monophonic. However, neither radio can accurately reproduce the full dynamic sound range of classical music in a large room. For that there is no substitute for power and appropriate loudspeakers. **Q: there are mixed answers as to whether or not you can hook up a phone, can you with the model one radio??** A: Yes you can hook a phone up. Its on the back. My grand parents bought this radio in 1998 along with the first gen bose radio. They have played and used the trevoli more then the bose. After 20 years tge trevoli is starting to buzz out. I'm going to ooen it and re solder points . if no go I'm buying another. Great sound great guality. **Q: Does this have an alarm function?** A: No. This is not a clock radio. No clock, no alarm, just a basic monaural AM/FM table radio. How retro is that? **Q: Dq you have this radio with a 220w charger.** A: This radio is available in many countries around the world and make specific models for countries that have 220w. We recommend that you purchase a 12v power supply instead since the radio also has that option for power. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great sound from a very nice small radio. *by D***S on 15 May 2026* I ordered this radio after reading the reviews.
