Very poor quality and very weak. I do not recommend them at all - coming from a very careful person. A friend picked one up and bent it in half with the FIRST scoop of soft sand. Total waste of money.They are made of thin sheet metal that has -some- bends for strength. The problem is that there are no bends between the handle and the tool end, so it just bends when you try to scoop. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not great toy for little kids *by W***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2018* I clearly missed the word “metal” in the description. These were advertised along with beach items so I assumed they were plastic. I wouldn’t use them in the sand OR the garden. Too small and imho not safe for kids to be playing with metal tools (that will get hot in the sun and hurt when hit or dropped on child skin). I can’t see the wooden handles lasting very long either - soon to splinter.
