Review: Keeps chain muck off trouser leg. - This product works well keeping chain muck off your right trouser leg. I commute 100 miles a week, and this saves a considerable amount of laundry bother, in addition it has prevented the secondary transfer of oil from trouser leg to furnishings etc. It is easy to get on and off and after several months shows no signs of wear. Since chains are on the right, this is designed to fit the right leg. One's trouser leg can get clammy underneath, but it doesnt claim to be breathable, perhaps this is more noticeable if it is worn next to the skin to keep your leg clean. After months of use the oil shows no sign of working its way through the material. It is high vis yellow, and hopefully catches drivers attention. It does not come clean in my washing machine, wiping it down with WD40 and a rag seems the best approach to cleaning where it has rubbed the chain.
Review: Does the job - Easy to use

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the only* for the right leg? As I bike, it seems to get on the left leg more than the right!**
A: I buy them in pairs and use them on both legs. If you ride with wide flared pantlegs, even the left can get grease from the parts. They are one type that can be put on either leg.

**Q: These were extremely helpful to my sister who is on medicine that cause her skin to tear & bleed.she's hoping you'll offer other colors e.g beige??**
A: We just have Black and Neon Yellow, sorry. Mark Owner, Leg Shield LLC

**Q: Is the leg Shield heat resistint. I need something that will protect my leg for the exaust.**
A: This leg shield gets hot when you are excersising with it, it,s bad to disipate the heat emited by your body, but it's a good protector for your leg from the chain of your bike, it's well made and easy to wash. I hope this help you to take your choice.

**Q: Do these have reflectors like the yellow ones do?**
A: No, just the Yellow has reflective strips. Thanks

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job

Easy to use

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Winner! No longer have trousers getting eaten or greased by my chain, no longer worried I'm damaging my chain/gears
*by Q***Y on 20 September 2016*

Ok, so I've had some funny looks as I've walked into work wearing this but it is great. I no longer have had my trousers getting eaten in my chain, no longer worried I'm damaging my chain/gears/ and no more black grease marks on my trousers either. The reflective strips show up well so hopefully increases my visibility and safety too. Multiple wins. The grease really shows on this so I know exactly how much grease I've protecting my trousers from. I've washed this leg shield by hand once and am pleased that the grease came off easily and the leg shield didn't fall apart at all. Delivery took a little longer than planned and the seller did contact me to apologise and explained. Seemed fair enough and I wasn't in a rush. There isn't anything else so far on the market like this and I think it's better than tucking your trousers into your socks or using clips. The price is a little steeper than I'd expect and once a couple of vendors/suppliers catch onto this product, competition may force the price down a tad. You only need one as the chain is on one side of the bike and only the leg on that side needs the shield. Product Description The Leg Shield is the perfect solution for protecting your right trouser leg from hard-to-clean grease stains and preventing trousers from getting jammed in the bike gears. With the existing trouser straps & clips, grease gets on your trousers and they can slip down or come apart. With the Leg Shield you don't need to worry about ruining your trousers and can have a safe and enjoyable ride. It's great for bike commuters and recumbent riders. We also sell high-quality reflective ankle bands on Amazon. The ankle bands provide visibility & some trouser protection High-Quality & Durable • Made with strong zig-zag stitching • Has three premium Velcro style straps which fit securely and can withstand heavy usage, yet are easy to tear off. • Made with a thin layer of neoprene which is flexible, durable, and allows for a snug fit around your leg and will stay in place.
