Featuring a super-cardioid pickup pattern, it excels at isolating vocals while suppressing ambient noise. Its high acoustic resolution and wide frequency response ensure natural, detailed sound reproduction. Built with a robust metal housing and finished in sleek matte black, it combines durability with professional aesthetics. Ideal for demanding stage environments, it includes a stand mount and padded nylon bag for convenience. ## Description The KMS 105 from Neumann is designed to optimally transmit the human voice under demanding conditions present on the live stage. The high acoustic resolution and smooth frequency response of this microphone ensures the musician has optimal control of the stage performance at all times. Due to their low coloration, self-noise and low crosstalk, the KMS microphones are ideal for use with in-ear monitoring systems. With its supercardioid characteristic the KMS 105 is particularly good at suppressing sounds originating from the sides of the microphone. The studio condenser capsule used in the KMS 105 provides the basis for transmitting all the nuances of the human voice. In comparison with other handheld microphones, which operate mostly with dynamic capsules, the KMS 105 has a particularly high acoustic transparency, a wide frequency range and amazing resolution. Review: Neumann storefront is legit - The Neumann store on desertcart is legit. I somehow stumbled on an excellent price for the KMS-105 (new but at used prices). I was concerned that perhaps it was a fake. In registering my product directly with Neumann they told me the only way to verify it was to ship it to them directly. Luckily it was in CT and not Germany. desertcart agreed to pay the shipping costs to get it to Neumann and extend the product return window (major kudus to desertcart customer service). Neumann verified it as legitimate and shipped it back to me all in about a week I’m thrilled about my mic and the sound it produces. This post is more about having confidence that buying on Neumann’s desertcart storefront is the real deal.
