The performance is excellent – almost on par with liquid metal – but without the hassle and mess that comes with trying to clean liquid metal once it’s set.The paste itself is high quality, easy to work with, and spreads very nicely whether you use the blob or cross method on a heatspreader, or apply it directly to chips. I used it under the heatspreader on a hot i7-7700, and the difference was night and day once Intel’s horrific factory paste job was cleaned off properly. If you leave your PC alone and run stock for cpu's Aeronaut is excellent for the job holding around the same heat conductivity as noctua's NT-H1 which is also an excellent paste for this work case but if you push your hardware and overclock id recommend Kryonaut AND especially if refreshing thermal paste on GPU Kryonaut in my experience is excellent and my go to product for GPU's.
