Q: If you attach it to a stand, does it bottom out to the bar at the bottom easily?

Well someone gave me my Pawleys hammock and ordered stand and it bottoms out on the bar ,but there's no telling what's been done to this hammock ..that's why I'm reading everyone's comments before I order a new Hammock ,need one to fit stand..In from S. C. Now in Georgia ,and Pawleys Island isn't far from my home and I'm definitely getting one of theirs

Q: what is the weight capacity?

The weight capacity is a manufacture question. Let me try and help: I weigh 260 lbs and have no problem. I have seen two people in the hammock no problem. I have had the hammock on our deck for two years, (taken inside for winter) I also run a B&B in Montana and I would recommend the hammock. Hope that helps.

Q: What's the minimum pole distance the 13' type requires?

We have it on the hammock stand. It stretches a little under 15 feet, (about 14.5 feet) without much slack.Hope this helps.

Q: Did your Pawleys Island Duracord hammock come with the metal authentication plate on the spreader bar...mine did not....

There is a small stamped out metal Pawley Island tag glued to one spreader bar. I looked after reading your question, because I couldn't remember if there was one or not. This tag could easliy come off and I wouldn't have known.
