I know the difference between quality hats and cheap ones. This is a nice hat that's somewhere in between. For the price... it's not bad. Sure, it doesn't have the quality of a $30-$40 hat but it's not so cheap that it's flimsy and won't hold it's shape. No, it's not American made but again, for the price, not bad. This is a high profile hat ( which means for those who may not know, sits higher on your head.) It has a stiffness to it so it does maintain it's shape. I bought a few of these so I could put my business logo on them. I think that if there were more vent holes that could have relieved the heat a little.As for the fit of this cap, I found it a little small on me. It fit my girlfriend perfectly fine though. Not sure if it's because I have an abnormally big head. I had to adjust the strap close to the end so it could fit my head.I probably won't be purchasing another one of these caps in the future.
