It came with lots of letters...my only complaint and it is a big one! You cannot order more "like" letters that come with it. I wound up having to order 2 letter boards to get all the letters for the function I used it for. The board itself is fine and works well. I spray painted the frame because the function called for all things black and white. I actually like the frame better in white but that's a personal choice. I do recommend this letter board.
