Testing continuity on the cable itself shows that if you hold the connector facing you, with the notch on top (where the arrow lines up) the two top pins (the ones slightly farther apart) are VCC, and the two lower (and the metal casing) is GND. This is all empirical information dissecting the blown up one that I replaced, but I'm not an electronics engineer by any measure, so take it with a grain of salt. **Q: Does this power output 5V and 12V?** A: No I don't think it does it's marked output is 12 **Q: Will this work with a Kodak i1420 Scanner?** A: I cannot correctly answer your question. If it takes the same connection it should work. I will update this review upon hearing back from them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fixes the issue if its the power brick *by S***S on 18 July 2023* had my synology ds918+ go offline while at a camp and when I came home, it was just off. my desktops were on, modem/router were on (both modem/router and nas are on a PSU, my one desktop that is not was still on, so not a power outage or it would be offline). Tried it on a different outlet, nothing. Pulled drives out, pulled extra ram out, nothing. Tested with multimeter and couldn't get any signal through it. one 2 of the prongs, the continuity test worked, but also noticed the green led light (didn't realize it had one) was off on the brick. Synology support said it was out of warrenty so no help there (not their issue really), so I decided to order one of these to rule that out. Came 2 days later, and when i plugged it in, green light on brick, hooked it into the nas and blue power light came on. Minute later, could connect to it. Not too bad of a fix cost after 4 years of non stop running.
