It arrived on the 5th of March, which was a very nice surprise.This Gorka-4 looks great, but the one I received is a lot more green than the one pictured here, but I'm actually really happy with the color.The suspenders and the buttons feel like they might break easily, but they're actually quite sturdy, from my experience.If you aren't sure about the size, I would advise ordering a top that's one size larger than you think would fit. I ordered one in the size I thought I was and while it isn't too small for me, it is slightly restrictive. The positives of this suit is the quality of material and stitching is exceptional for the price, the pockets on the blouse all have a self sealing seams that prevent items from falling out. The kangaroo pouch can be utilized as a administrative pouch or a dump pouch for magazines. All the canvas is thick, durable and breathable. the elbow pad pockets work great with standard neoprene in the pocket pads. My recommendation is for additional water repellency apply kiwi waterproof spray due to the water repellent currently on the gorka is minimal. As stated before this suit is best for winter, fall and cold weather due to the type of materials used. I highly recommend it due to hunting appeal with similar materials will cost 2x the cost of this suit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Order a longer size than according to the size charts than you think, they run short. *by D***T on Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2018* BARS Gorka-4 is well made, authentic, uses decent materials, and it is water resistant. You can spray it down with some DWR to improve the performance.The "4" pattern itself could use improvements. It's restrictive in the sleeves, could use bellows like the U.S. ACU so you can stretch out both arms and not have it ride up or some other solution. Crotch is not gussetted, drops too low and binds movement squatting or kneeling. I wish all buttons were Canadian style slot buttons. Wind resistance depends on which way the wind is blowing from. Anything with two layers of fabric resists the wind. Single layer of fabric breathes. It's a compromise but not a bad one. There are internal elbow pad provisions but not for knee pads?? Pockets are good design, resist snagging from the front when walking through underbrush, colors are a good choice and fit with a range of season and environments. I like the Russian sensibility of it overall.Competitive options on a practical level: Surplus British smocks, surplus ECWCS level V.
