It's really cute and the perfect size for a 6 year old. I later got her the matching lunch bag. The backpack has a loop at the top that is really useful for attching the lunchbag to the outside of the backpack. It has been helpful when her backpack gets full with her big winter jacket and school supplies. It fits a decent amount of folders and supplies, and i like the exterior pockets for her snacks and water bottle. She has had the backback almost a year and it has held up really well considering she tosses it everywhere (the bus, the car, the closet). Obviously it has gotten quite dirty at times, but a quick toss in the wash and it looks great again. Easy to carry, easy to clean, durable material. Picture is after one year of use.
