Low cost, high power rating, simple to use and reliable. I've used the 60 amp and 80 amp "RC Electric Parts" speed controllers for a couple years now. They have never given me any trouble. They stay cool and deliver smooth, linear power. They are simple to set up and install. The default setup parameters are right for 90% of the RC plane applications used. For those who need "soft-start" high timing, or breaking, you can program from the transmitter or by a separate programming board.
