In our backup tests with fast CF and SD memory cards, the device was able to process max. 35 MB/s. The type of integrated memory (SSD or HDD) has no significant difference to the backup speed. However, devices with integrated SSD are minimally faster in backup when running tests with the same memory card. The advantages of the UDMA3 with integrated SSD are that the device can save more data per battery charge; Starts faster; Is faster detected and initialized by the PC; And especially when travelling in harsh environments (sports tours, safaris, world trips, etc.) with strong shocks, bumps, falls etc. is safer and more reliable due to the design of the SSD without mechanical components.
