The sound playback is of a great clear vocal quality and the only background noise which is picked up is my Pc fans when they are on full speed setting, I was actually slightly nervous to if this mic was good or not with 1 review been 5 and the other a measly 1 so was a gamble to be honest but I thought id clear that up and write a review myself, the mic is best picked up from the front though so don't expect to talk into the mic from any angle. I currently have a pop filter in front of mine and it work superbly, the fact this mic is just a plug in and play once you set the mic to default in the settings of pc, it just works, the only thing you need to adjust on the mic its self is the volume up to max and if still no sound or little of it, check the pc settings on the mic volume as it may be turned down.
