## Overview

The Quince Tree Rea's Mammoth is an heirloom fruit tree known for its exceptional flavor and beautiful spring blossoms. It thrives in various sunlight conditions and requires moderate watering, making it an ideal addition to any garden.

## Description

A magnificent heirloom fruit tree that adds a distinct character to any orchard, grassy area, paddock, or garden. Quinces were once widely celebrated for the unmistakeable perfumed aroma of the softly downy golden yellow fruits. Nowadays they are much less seldom seen, but a revival is on the horizon! 'Rea's Mammoth' is a special variety with extra-large weighty fruits, about the size of a particularly large dessert pear. Quinces make attractive trees with large soft pink flowers in May and nice leaves that turn a rich deep yellow in Autumn. The fruits ripen late, in late October/November. They can be added to apple pies and stewed apples, or used in pear dishes, or made into jelly. The trees will grow to around 3metres in height eventually and are easily grown on any ordinary soil in sun or part shade. Postage can be combined with other trees I am selling. . Supplied at approx 120cm's+ in height ex container/3 litre pot.
