Bigger is better up to the 50 ltr mark. You will also need a syphon tube. Other than that and assuming you have suitable bottles to put the alcohol in - it’s all good - although the supplied filtration unit takes forever so I am thinking of getting a different one of those. **Q: Can you add different mashes or does it have to be sugar mash?** A: I’ve distilled beer, wine and all sorts of other things. Throw away the first output and it’s a good way to recycle abortive wine brews. I’ve also made gin and ouzo by adding the relevant botanicals/ingredients directly to the machine and finalized mash. My answer would be experiment but be safe and throw away the first outputs.
