It is perfect if you don’t have a lot of gray or a lot of volume of hair. My hair is medium to dark brown, medium length and pretty thin, definitely fine, and I use the light brown. I have used medium but light is just fine. It is darker than light, for me, over my hair. The process is really easy and doesn’t take long and I feel that it is less harsh than some dyes. And what I love most is that it doesn’t have a reddish tint at all! I don’t want reddish-brown; I want a neutral brunette color and their brown colors are all like that. On the cool side. Love it and have been using for years. !!!
