Review: Great connector but I wish the were just a bit wider/linger - These worked awesome for my ROG Ally until I installed a grip case from Skull and Co. Now they don't fit. Great product otherwise but I wish they were just a tiny bit longer to accommodate a few cases. They did feel well built and helped reduce stress on the USB C connector.
Review: Fixed my Steam Deck's issue without having to solder in a new USB-C - My Steam Deck recently got ripped off my bed by my poodle running under the bed to escape thunder and getting caught in the cords. The heartbreaking result? The USB-C charging port won't hold a cord in anymore. Any little bit of pressure, even just the cord weighing it down, and it pops right back out. No more charging while gaming for me. I ordered this in the hopes that moving the strain would fix the issue, and it did! I'm very happy, as resoldering USB-C ports is a thing I absolutely hate to do. And really don't want to do on such an expensive electronic. My Mom's $50 Kindle is one thing, a Steam Deck is another. This has been a fantastic fix for me for a very low cost. I think it would also be wonderful for a Switch for the same reason, but I haven't tried it. I just leave it on my Deck and remove the cable from it when the Deck is charged.

These worked awesome for my ROG Ally until I installed a grip case from Skull and Co. Now they don't fit. Great product otherwise but I wish they were just a tiny bit longer to accommodate a few cases. They did feel well built and helped reduce stress on the USB C connector.

My Steam Deck recently got ripped off my bed by my poodle running under the bed to escape thunder and getting caught in the cords. The heartbreaking result? The USB-C charging port won't hold a cord in anymore. Any little bit of pressure, even just the cord weighing it down, and it pops right back out. No more charging while gaming for me. I ordered this in the hopes that moving the strain would fix the issue, and it did! I'm very happy, as resoldering USB-C ports is a thing I absolutely hate to do. And really don't want to do on such an expensive electronic. My Mom's $50 Kindle is one thing, a Steam Deck is another. This has been a fantastic fix for me for a very low cost. I think it would also be wonderful for a Switch for the same reason, but I haven't tried it. I just leave it on my Deck and remove the cable from it when the Deck is charged.

These might only work if you don't have a killswitch case. They connect but wasn't really what I intended for the rog ally
