18 Litre Replaceable Membrane Potable Water Expansion Vessel Tank * 18 Litre * White Epoxy Coated Steel Container * Replaceable EPDM Membrane * Bolted Stainless Steel Flange * Maximum Pressure: 10 Bar * Pre-set Charge Pressure: 3 Bar * 3/4" MBSP Connection * WRAS Approved An expansion vessel for potable water. It is manufactured to comply with UK water regulations and are tested and certified by WRAS. All vessels are supplied with a replaceable membrane. It separates the water and air to prevent contamination of the water system, corrosion of the vessel and pressure loss in the water system. The main purpose of the vessel is to compensate for the increase in volume of water due to the increases in temperature.

This expansion vessel is purely designed for Potable / Main water systems only and the manufacturer would not recommend for anything else such as curing resin. By doing this it would invalidate any warranty applied to it.

**Q: could this vessel be used for compressed air @ 6bar?**
A: I would not advise this expansion vessel to be used for compressed gas at 6 bar. The vessel is meant to be used for potable water at 3 bar maximum.
