From the fun colors to the fact that they nest neatly with lids without taking up a lot of space, these are a fantastic addition to my kitchen.The silicone is soft and pliable, which is great when you're putting in something a little bumpy like fried chicken or roasted potatoes. But for liquid or other saucy items, you'll just want to make sure you have the lid sealed well and carry with two hands.The middle two sizes seem best for packing up leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. The big one can easily hold half a chicken and potatoes. The smallest one is perfect for fruit or snacks.For re-heating in the microwave, there is a little plug that you can pull out to vent the contents. (Just don't lose it!)So far, they've washed up great in the dishwasher and things reheat just fine in the microwave.
