I then went over the line with white India ink. The ink is opaque and covered the Sharpie line completely. Hope that helps. **Q: Is this an alcohol ink?** A: No. All Dr. Ph. Martin’s are water-based. However, you can add alcohol to Bombay to transform it into a product very similar to standard alcohol ink. **Q: Does anyone know if this is considered archival quality ink?** A: Yes Bombay ink is considered archival quality. **Q: Will this in work with rubber stamps?** A: Yes however it will require cleaning before it dries on the rubber stamp or after with a cleaner like rubbing alcohol. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Glass dye *by C***S on 30 July 2025* Good item.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing value *by M***S on 3 July 2019* Very p[leased, glossy ink ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely colour with gentle sheen *by A***A on 17 January 2020* Lovely clear bright green. Somewhat transparent with a sheen when dried. I found two layers are required for an even finish when applied with a brush. As this is a pigment, not a dye, expect the ink solids to settle over time. ## Frequently Bought Together - Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay India Ink (8BY) Ink Bottle, 1.0 oz, White, 1 Bottle - Dr. Ph.
