Which is nice since it gives versatility in leaving it at a more muted color, or super high polish. It works EXCELLENTLY with brass, but with copper I find a cream based polish is best. I included a comparison photo. NevrDull gave a result on copper that would be the equivalent of a couple weeks - a month of tarnish. But using Mauviel CopperBrill gave the copper that brand-spanking new factory pink shine. Mauviel is expensive so I assume Wright’s or other cream-based copper polish brands would work just as well. It’s my first time buying so can’t compare the dryness to what it might be like bought in store (so likely a fresher batch). The wool at the top definitely seemed dryer than when I’d used up those bits and gotten to the ones beneath, but it still worked the exact same. All in all, I’m very happy as it’s a super affordable price and goes a long way (I keep using the wool until it’s absolutely jet black - if it’s not gotten to that point, I’ll pop it back in the tin for another day.) But for carbon build up that's a decade old....this won't take it off. **Q: Can I use it on drum hardware** A: YES, I have older Ludwig vintage stands and newer secondary cymbal stands,mic stands,drum hardware. Looks new again, It Rocks. **Q: Can this product be used on cooper?** A: Yes. We used this in the Navy specifically for polishing copper and brass plumbing. I have not bought this brand of it but if it is just like what the military buys it is awesome stuff. Puts a mirror finish on copper and brass **Q: what is the difference between the eagle one and the original polish? I need to clean aluminum frame on doors.** A: This is cotton wadding that has been treated with some oil based solvent (something like WD-40?) I once got a can of this in a grocery store auto section but it was dried out and it is useless then. It will turn black as it removes the oxidation but just keep re-folding it to expose clean areas. You can get a lot of mileage out of this stuff. I'm a fan and have used it mostly on chrome. It will also take dried tar of non-ferrous metals . I did use it on old alloy wheels - mostly aluminum, right? - and they went from dull grey to reflecting my hand almost like chrome. I keep Q-Tips in the can and they absorb some of the solvent for use in small areas. But I think the shining effect is less dramatic when the surface is not really smooth to start with - like screen door frames. My alloy wheels probably came out of the factory buffed and smooth as a baby's butt. It is a lot of manual rubbing tho. It dries to a white residue then comes off easily with terrycloth.
