Better for medium to large diameter stuff. There is a point where the diameter is too small that it won't grip. It seems pretty well made. I would recommend if you need something like this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ makes the work MUCH easier *by V***R on Reviewed in the United States on 30 January 2024* Before I got this, I would use a pile of clamps to try... and i mean try because it didnt work most of the time... to hold the logs while I ran the lumberjack mortise tool. This changes the equation. You clamp the log in this and no more problems.Fantastic tool for making log furniture.
