It's not the brightest out there but in a small room or a cupboard they are great.The recommended app worked fine using my iphone to control the lights but I had problems trying to connect it with Alexa. I'm not sure if this was because of conflicts with other smart apps on my phone but I actually gave up in the end. No matter what I did Alexa just couldn't find the bulb. To get the bulb working instantly with my Echo dot I used and app already on my phone called 'eFamilyCloud' as I use this for my generic WIFI smart plugs. There is an option to connect bulbs and it's now working perfectly with Alexa. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smart home! *by B***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 January 2018* Great addition to many items that are controllable from my iPhone!The bulb fitting is B22 (not screw) so fits in many regular light fittings.Using the Smart Life app that is free in the App Store, extremely easy to pair with the bulb, just follow the simple instructions!I don't have Amazon Alexa but this bulb is also compatible with Alexa!You are able to control the brightness and colour straight from the app which is great! Here are some photos of the product! ### ⭐⭐ Not easy to set up and not full function with alexa *by A***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 May 2018* I nearly threw this away, it was a nightmare to setup, instructions not clear..... by luck i figured out that there is two (yes x2) flashing modes, and only one of them is the correct one to connect to the internet. instructions rubbish!. It was around my 20th attempt i got the fast flashing rather than slow flashing..... now its working it does what it says on the tin.... however alexa does not recognise "scenes" (i.e. disco lights or mood) but you can operate this fro the phone.
