Its precise current and voltage ratings ensure safe operation by interrupting high voltage circuits during faults, extending the life of your microwave. Ideal for experienced DIYers, it offers a cost-effective alternative to full fuse holder replacements and fits most microwave brands. ## Description Replacement type high voltage fuse tube for modern microwave ovens. This high voltage fuse is wired in series with the high voltage feed from the high voltage transformer to the magnetron. The fuse will fail if there is a fault in the high voltage circuit. Such a fault could be a short circuit magnetron or a short circuit high voltage rectifier. In our experience however this fuse commonly fails for no apparent reason. The fuse just gets stressed everytime the magnetron starts which eventually leads to the demise of the fuse. The fuse however may also fail if the microwave cooking cycle is started with no food or metal objects in the oven cavity. The fuse can be replaced as a complete holder assembly though in this case the glass tube only is offered. This will alow a cheaper and equally as effective repair. In most instances the glass tube can simply be pulled from the end caps of the fuse holder. Please refer to the photographs in this listing. The fuse holder is opened by twisting each end in opposite directions. Some high voltage fuse assemblies are smaller and rectangular in shape but in most cases after clipping apart a fuse tube, as shown here, is fitted inside. It is not relevant if your fuse tube does not have the coiled spring inside as ours do.This type of fuse is fitted to many brands of microwaves and this particular type of fuse is suitable for replacement in any brand. Check the rating of the original fuse and replace with the correct value. To fit this fuse it is necessary to remove the outer casing so replacement should only be attempted by those who have experience in the repair of electrical appliances. High voltages are present in a microwave oven and it is important that the appliance is disconnected from the mains before any servicing work is carried out. ## Features - 800mA 0.8A current rating - 5kV 5000V voltage rating - 38mm x7mm - Repair your own microwave - Only to be purchased and fitted by competent personell ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004N1Y3I2 | | Batteries Required? | No | | Batteries included? | No | | Best Sellers Rank | 694,339 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 278 in Microwave Replacement Parts | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (22) | | Date First Available | 9 Feb. 2011 | | Guaranteed software updates until | unknown | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item model number | 800mA | | Manufacturer | TheOneStopSatShop | | Part Number | 800mA | ## Images ![800mA 5kV microwave high voltage fuse tube - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81hyJCzVlWL.jpg) ![800mA 5kV microwave high voltage fuse tube - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/311DyCSo-4L.jpg) ![800mA 5kV microwave high voltage fuse tube - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31Zciproo+L.jpg) ![800mA 5kV microwave high voltage fuse tube - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31ES8BQb3LL.jpg) ![800mA 5kV microwave high voltage fuse tube - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31vLSKeDPHL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - 800mA 5kV microwave high voltage fuse tube - Haveratio 5KV 0.8A High Voltage Fuse for Microwave Ovens Universal Fuse Holder Microwave Oven Repair Parts Accessories White - Meter Star CQC Universal Household Microwave High Voltage Capacitor Replacement 2100V 0.91uF MFD Compatible ch85 21091 AC H.V.Capacitor 10/85/21 50/60Hz NO PCB --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/54751205-800ma-5kv-microwave-high-voltage-fuse-tube](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/54751205-800ma-5kv-microwave-high-voltage-fuse-tube) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
