I don’t want people being able to smell my armpits, even if they smell nice. But more than all of that, I find it to be way more effective than regular American drugstore antiperspirants. One thing to note is the active ingredient: aluminum chlorohydrate. For me, and my teenage boys, it’s extremely effective, but less harsh than antiperspirants containing aluminum chloride. I never notice any body odor on me or my boys on a normal day. I apply some after my shower at night, and then again in the morning to reinforce, before getting dressed. There’s zero residue, nothing ever on my clothes, because it’s just a clear liquid. Since there’s no alcohol, you do need to give it a few minutes to dry before putting your clothes on.
