This is a great battery monitor. Everything from redodo is well packaged and well made. Just looking at the way they present their product us top notch. It's really nice to see a manual without typos and cheap photocopied manual. This just has pride in their product all over it. At first I thought it had an issue because it read 13 volts. I had 4 12 volt batteries in series. I was dumb enough to put the positive and negative on the same battery. I put the positive on the opposing battery and it read 52.8! Always question yourself before trashing the product. It even includes a little screwdriver. Someone made a statement that the little motherboard that sticks out by the bolts could be damaged. I agree with that if you use a wrench. I used a socket and that was not an issue. You should always use a socket anyways.

Excellent product. Was easy to install and works great. Installed it in my RV when I replaced a faulty inverter. I can now monitor my battery levels as well as see my power usage and charging levels.

Plenty of wire to mount wherever you want and tells you all you need to know about your power in, power out and how long untill full or depleted ..

This device takes the quesswork out of your battery's state of charge. Easy to read and simple to install.

Product work and I am thankful for the instruction manual which explained everything.

I thought: I bought the REDODO 40A Dual Input MPPT controller - it has basic uninformative LEDs - So I decided to buy this 500 A Battery Monitor to at least see if the MPPT works and to track basic I/O. SAVE YOURSELVES a lot of extra expense and trouble - buy an MPPT controller that has: a direct readout of status/an integrated remote readout/Bluetooth status & control on your phone. This whole system does not work - The 'manual' is incomplete with critical information missing and/or ambiguous and Customer Service is unresponsive. The so-called dual input is not a true dual input - it is required - the operation is hokey with power supplied from the 'other' input and not the batteries you are charging. (Typically - they should work like a charger/inverter with operating power supplied from the output (batteries)).

Had good luck with Batteries figured I would try this for a non Bluetooth battery. Right after I installed one of the tiny wires of the shielded control cable came loose. No heat shrink or protection to those delicate wires at plug ends. Emailed to get replacement as it immediately became non functional. Now at over 2 weeks. They said send money and then they would “Try” to find a replacement but could not guarantee. Tried the send money link and it was not working. Should have gone with Victron!UPDATE: Customer service responsive to issue.
