Best thing is that dog fur doesn't stick to the material is is easy to clean out; same with dirt or other debris. The length that is left over when installed with the back seats up is long enough to cover the expanded cargo area when the middle seats are laid down and it can be adjusted to hang or attach from the headrests on front or back seats. The extra length is easy to deal with after the dog(s) load up by just folding it up into about three 8" wide accordion folds before shutting the cargo hatch. I pull down the extra length when loading up so it protects the bumper and inside from any paw scratches.
