This is a Christmas present, so I opened the cartoon box they were in and realised that they were just there, wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic, but no official box for them. I think it sucks knowing the price and the high quality of the products. They look great but are completely useless. We were replacing a much loved old Peugeot pepper mill that is roughly 20 years old but was missing a piece from the lid. It was still working and gave us the coarse liberal sprinkling of pepper we so love. Not so with these new ones which painfully cut through the salt and pepper and deliver a disappointing powder. It doesn’t seem to make any difference how you adjust the settings.... it’s just powder.Complete waste of money.
