Goes about 20 metres. This is our third as they tend to last 2 or 3 years and then the rubber band breaks Review: It works well for a while. - This is excellent. I've just been discharged from hospital after having having a major heart attack. I cannot throw or kick a ball for my dog to retrieve. So I had to find an alternative for thr foreseeable future. This does the job perfectly. I sit on my garden bench swing, fire the gun, and off he goes. He puts it at my feet and the gun picks it up. It shoots about 30ft and bounces around another 30 ft before he gets to it, so it is ideal for my purposes. It has a good strong spring mechanism to it, and is made of sturdy plastic. It is very robust. Update: 8 weeks later the elastic strap inside broke. I tried contacting the seller, but without success. The return date has expired, so I cannot return. I've paid for an expensive item and I expected it to last. To most people this would go in the bin at a great financial loss. Myself, I may be able to take it apart and fix it, if I can find a rubber band of the same tension, thickness, and length. I have now degraded it from 5 star to 1 star. Here is an update after 8 weeks use. The thick rubber band has snapped inside the unit, rendering it unworkable. The window to return has long gone (thirty days). £32 down the drain, unless I can take it apart and repair. I am capable, but lots off people are not. But who would pay for such an expensive item and expect to have to repair it in such a short time, or at all. ## Features - NERF-TOUGH: Nerf-quality materials make our Small Tennis Ball Blaster perfect for fetch and for teaching your dog new tricks - EASY OPERATION: Operating the blaster is as easy as pulling back on the handle, loading the ball, and taking your shot - GOES THE DISTANCE: Skyrocket tennis balls up to 35 feet!
