I destroyed my smooth build sheet by installing self-adhesive print sheets on it since I had a terrible time making anything stick. After reading through the reviews and seeing problems with sticking and bubbles on the smooth side I decided “what the heck” and ordered one; there were enough good reviews to offset the bad ones.When the double-sided sheet came in, I noticed that it had bubbles on the smooth side, just like one of the reviews. I thought OH GREAT! I pressed the bubbles out then thought it sure acted like a protective film; like another review said it did not have. I scratched the edge and sure enough it was a protective film. I removed the film and wiped down both sides with 91% isopropyl alcohol then set up my first print on the textured side. My first dozen or so prints using PETG were perfect. Adhesion was great and when the sheet cooled, the parts released by themselves.I then had a couple of quick prints with PLA that went off without a hitch. Sixty degrees was not a problem. Then I remembered another review that said the sheet can't handle 100 degrees without warping. I switched to ABS and ran the sheet up to 110 degrees for a 12-hour print. When I woke up the next morning the print was done and sitting on top of the sheet. I set up for a half dozen more prints with ABS (2 – 6 hours each) and they also printed perfectly. Adhesion was perfect and release was perfect as well. There were no problems with warpage or anything else. Best guess on the warpage and bubbles reported is that the user's printer bed did not have magnets that would hold the magnetic sheet properly and protective film was left on the other; but I digress. 😊I have not used the smooth side yet because the textured side makes a beautiful bottom layer. I used to like the Prusa textured sheet, but this one is now my favorite, by far. I have only used this product for a couple of weeks now so I can't speak for its durability… yet. However, I can say that so far it has performed flawlessly with everything I have thrown at it. Adhesion, even on some tall parts with a small footprint, was perfect. Release was effortless; if left to cool, the parts almost always released themselves and sat on top of the sheet. If removed while hot, a quick bend and they popped right off and I was ready to start the next print. I'm thrilled with this double-sided build sheet and will definitely buy again. If you’re on the fence, go for it. I don’t think you can go wrong. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars A really fine PEI sheet *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2024* I use this to make high temperature ASA parts and it works great. I did have to lower my nozzle height (compared to stock Prusa sheet) a little bit first, but after that adjustment it works great. Holds very well during printing, let it cool and parts almost fall off.It's good to find a company that makes a quality product but doesn't gouge the customer. Very good value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars An imperfect, but much better value replacement to Prusa OEM *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2023* I'd rate this 5 stars at the price I bought it at a couple weeks ago (<$18), and 4 stars at the current price ($25).I damaged my original Prusa i3 MK3 build plate while learning to print TPU, which I hadn't realized can stick pretty tenaciously to the build plate. A couple of prints took a lot of force to remove and took some small chunks of PEI with them. I have a replacement PEI sheet for the Prusa OEM plate, but reading horror stories about what it takes to replace it led me to just search for a new plate.Complete Prusa OEM plates are relatively cheap, but shipping from the Czech Republic is what gets you. That led me to the aftermarket, and this seemed like the best value I could find.It's a decent plate for what it is. It gets the job done well, and only has a few minor shortcomings. It's slightly too small for the heated bed, but not enough to where it should steal build volume unless you're really pushing that to the limit. It doesn't have any markings like the Prusa OEM plate, which makes it harder to plan for printing on only a portion of the plate, such as when you need to use an adhesion promoter but don't want to coat the entire surface with it. It's also just a bit rough around the edges (literally), which isn't a practical issue but probably a sign of cheap manufacturing.Given that I haven't had any significant problems with it, and was able to get it at less than 1/3 the total cost of a shipped Prusa OEM plate, I'd consider it a steal.
