Rear sight took about 5 - 6 hours of filing and sanding the dovetail. Granted, all I had available at the time was a fairly mild file and fine sandpaper, but wasn’t expecting such a chore. Had a sight pusher that I just about ruined from this, and barely got it installed. I read some fitment was expected, but I probably filed somewhere between 1/64 and 1/32 off. (1/32=.79mm). So maybe pick up some needle files. Seems the problem was the tip of the dovetail, though I tried everything. And maybe get some gun blue in case you damage the exterior. I will say it took a lot abuse and kept on going. Not intentionally abused, but I had the pusher tool backwards once, and it was easy to get the alignment off trying to force it.
