Featuring a built-in 20A micro-blade fuse for enhanced safety and a rugged, watertight design, this lightweight adapter supports a wide range of NOCO Genius chargers, making it an essential accessory for professionals who demand reliable, all-weather battery charging solutions. ## Description Already have SAE quick-connect leads on your motorcycle, ATV or boat? The GC009 converts the X-Connect on your NOCO GENIUS smart battery charger to the SAE connector found on traditional chargers, so you can plug into the leads already wired to your vehicles. Upgrade to a GENIUS without replacing the SAE quick-disconnect harnesses on every bike, sled, boat and mower, and keep using your existing SAE clamps, eyelet harnesses, extension cables and other SAE power adapters. At about 2.75 inches long, the adapter adds almost no length, and its rugged, watertight connector seals out dirt, water, gas and oil. A built-in 20A micro blade fuse adds protection against shorts. It works with the NOCO GENIUS1, GENIUS2, GENIUS2X2, GENIUS2X4, GENIUS5 and GENIUS10, the previous G750, G1100, G3500, G7200 and G4, and the BLSOLAR2, BLSOLAR5, XGS4AUTO and XGS9AUTO chargers. Not compatible with NOCO Boost or Boost X jump starters. Charger sold separately. ## Features - KEEP YOUR SAE LEADS — Converts your GENIUS charger’s X-Connect to the SAE connector found on traditional chargers, so it plugs into the SAE leads already wired to your vehicles. - UPGRADE WITHOUT REWIRING — Switch to a GENIUS smart charger without replacing the SAE quick-disconnect harnesses on every motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile, boat and mower. - USE YOUR SAE ACCESSORIES — Works with existing SAE clamps, eyelet harnesses, extension cables and other SAE power adapters, so nothing in your kit goes to waste. - COMPACT AND SEALED — At about 2.75 inches long, the adapter adds almost no length, its rugged connector seals out dirt, water, gas and oil, and a built-in 20A micro blade fuse guards against shorts. - GENIUS COMPATIBLE — Works with NOCO GENIUS1, GENIUS2, GENIUS2X2, GENIUS2X4, GENIUS5 and GENIUS10, plus G750, G1100, G3500, G7200 and G4; not compatible with Boost or Boost X jump starters; charger sold separately. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005DUMADC | | Amperage | 20 A | | Batteries | 20 A batteries required. | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,825 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #28 in Battery Chargers | | Brand | NOCO | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (7,582) | | Date First Available | August 16, 2011 | | Exterior | Per Item Description | | Item Weight | 1.44 ounces | | Item model number | GC009 | | Manufacturer | NOCO | | Manufacturer Part Number | GC009 | | Model | GC009 | | OEM Part Number | GC009 | | Product Dimensions | 2.75 x 0.78 x 2.75 inches | | Voltage | 12 | ## Images ![GC009 SAE Adapter, X-Connect to SAE Connector for Genius - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81peYIQD8xL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What makes the cg009 sae connector incompatible with the genius 26000 charger, wire size or type of connector?** A: The GC009's wire gauge is too small, and does not have the HD X-Connect Connection type that the G26000 requires. **Q: Why is not compatible with noco boost? what's the difference between the alligator clamps and this? is a x connector right? makes no sense to me** A: I can tell you the difference between the alligator clips and this, and make an educated guess about the Noco Boost. The xconnect is special to Noco and this cable converts the plug to the more available (in the US) SAE plug. Many of our small chargers and maintainers have this plug and it makes it easy to hook the Genius charger up to the pigtail that I have on my motorcycle, for instance. I have seen the alligator clips for the small Noco boost and they have much heavier cable attached to handle the high amps. The small clamps that come with the Genius charger I have would melt the first time you tried to jump anything. **Q: Can i use this to connect to an installed noco gbc007 for use as as a trickle charge on my harley davidson touring?** A: ok, Im not sure what you are asking. I googled gbc007 and that is a ring terminal harness for a noco charger, . This adapter connects to the noco charger but allows connection to standard SAE type harnesses such as you find on Battery Tender Jr and others. So if you have a gbc harness on your Harley then want a non NOCO charger you need the NOCO GC009 but if you already have the gbc007 on the Harley and you have a NOCO charger then this wont help **Q: Is the positive on this device the female with the fuse on the side? Is there an affordable generic one available?** A: I believe the positive (+ polarity) is the female (covered) side that has the power going through the blade fuse. The SAE is a generic connector, however, the NOCO is a proprietary connector from NO.CO and as such is an adapter to connect NOCO product to a generic SAE connector. This is a reasonably priced adapter for use with the NOCO product line and very simple to use ## Frequently Bought Together - NOCO GC009 X-Connect SAE Adapter Accessory Genius Smart Battery Chargers - NOCO GENIUS1: 1A 6V/12V Smart Battery Charger – Automatic Maintainer, Trickle Charger & Desulfator with Overcharge Protection & Temperature Compensation – For Lead-Acid & Lithium Batteries - NOCO GENIUS2: 2A 6V/12V Smart Battery Charger – Automatic Maintainer, Trickle Charger & Desulfator with Overcharge Protection & Temperature Compensation – For Lead-Acid & Lithium Batteries --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/5428243-gc009-sae-adapter-x-connect-to-sae-connector-for-genius](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/5428243-gc009-sae-adapter-x-connect-to-sae-connector-for-genius) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
